Il dirigente regionale di Italia Viva-Casa riformista, Giuseppe Perna, ritiene inaccettabile l’immobilismo della Regione sulle risorse necessarie per il personale dei siti archeologici gelesi, compreso il nuovo museo dei relitti greci. Lo ha reso noto in un comunicato di oggi, martedì 14 aprile.
«Ricordiamo tutti la presentazione in pompa magna e gli impegni assunti dall’assessore regionale Scarpinato – afferma Perna – ma dove sono le assunzioni per il personale da destinare ai musei della città e ai siti archeologici? Al momento, non pervenute».
Perna indica che l’amministrazione comunale e il parco archeologico stanno facendo ricorso a sei lavoratori socialmente utili, con un accordo ratificato attraverso un atto di indirizzo della giunta comunale. «Siamo al paradosso – aggiunge – un’amministrazione comunale, che già deve fronteggiare il dissesto e si trova davanti a una pianta organica ridotta all’osso, deve fare a meno pure dei lavoratori socialmente utili, per farli transitare al parco archeologico e assicurare qualche unità in più nei siti locali, che altrimenti sono destinati a rimanere, come già accade, troppo spesso chiusi. L’assessorato regionale e la soprintendenza, affidata all’architetto Vullo – conclude Perna – se da un lato annunciano piena attenzione per la città e per i siti archeologici, vantando l’importanza storica dei tanti ritrovamenti, dall’altro non fanno nulla per valorizzarli e per dare risorse vere alla città. Come già detto, Gela non può permettersi altri siti archeologici che funzionano a singhiozzo».
